April Elliott Kent has studied astrology since 1973 and practiced professionally since 1991. She is the author of Astrological Transits (Fair Winds Press), The Essential Guide to Practical Astrology (Alpha/Penguin), and Star Guide to Weddings (Llewellyn). A popular lecturer for conferences and local groups, April is a member of ISAR, NCGR, OPA, and the Authors Guild. She’s served on the board of the San Diego Astrological Society and NCGR San Diego, and on the AFAN Steering Committee. She lives in San Diego, California.
