Sun and Moon joined at 25.18 Aquarius

Last year’s explosion of social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter was a perfect illustration of Jupiter’s dance with Neptune in Aquarius. After all, Aquarius is the sign of friendship. Not the kind of committed, intimate partnerships that are the purview of Libra and Scorpio; rather, Aquarius’ realm is community, networks, people who on some level share our interests. I have several friends with Sun in Aquarius – might be my Moon conjunct Uranus in Leo that finds them offbeat and interesting. Anyway, I find they usually have a wide-ranging set of friends. One Aquarian friend of mine has friends that have included at a given time a call girl, a college professor, a jet-setting foreign couple, an artist friend from her rural-poor upbringing, a millionaire trust-fund slacker… that’s just the ones I can think of off-hand.
It’s interesting, Leslee, but I tend the attract the Saturnian variety of Aquarians (Saturn was the traditional ruler of Aquarius before the discovery of Uranus). However, my life is brimming over with Sun/Uranus, Moon/Uranus, and Moon in the 11th house people! I adore that crazy, unpredictable energy – and especially their easy friendship with (seemingly) the entire world.
