New Moon in Taurus: I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got

Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got
Last weekend the weather turned unseasonably hot, and on Saturday morning we brewed our coffee, bought some pastries from the local donut shop, and headed over to the park with our camp chairs for a picnic breakfast. Sitting with my husband in one of our city’s most beautiful places, breathing fresh air and watching the squirrels, the joggers, and the vivid spring flowers, and drinking excellent coffee, I suddenly realized that I know exactly what pleases me. I felt delighted, happy, and exceedingly wealthy – and all it cost was a few bucks….. (read the full article)

Vey well said April! And don’t forget your tremendous talent for writing these little anecdotes, wouldn’t that be part of your second house personal wealth as well?

Of course a Buffett song popped in my head while I was reading this “I got a roof over my head, someone to love me in this 4 poster bed and I can play this here guitar, I thank my lucky stars” lol.

Off to Cleveland next weekend for the annual midwest astrology conference

    Cheers,

    Jon

Jon, I was literally thinking of you just an hour or so ago. We went to see David Wilcox in concert and I was thinking how much you’d enjoy his guitar playing. Hope you enjoy the conference, I know you had a great time there last year!

I don’t think you’re alone in feeling this way these days… even those of us with an embarrassment of riches in the Taurus department (Sun, Venus & Mercury)are feeling rather uninclined to gather more “stuff.” I am daily grateful for stable employment and the ability to help others as I am able to. What else could I possibly need that costs money? Okay, books. I love books, sometimes to excess. Well, there are worse things…
Thanks for the eclipse reports, I am overdue in expressing my gratitude!!

I love this article April-such a lovely meditation on Venus and the 2nd house issues, of which I have been thinking of so much lately….

Saturn’s theme in the 2nd house: “Wisdom is life, life is affluent, affluence is the consciousness of enough, and enough is the spirit of wisdom. Everything but enough is an illusion, bearing illusion’s fruit.”
