Well, I've painted every wall in my house at least twice, and I've picked up an opinion or two along the way. First, you really can't tell from the chips at all, you've got to do a nice big patch on a couple of different walls. The light in your room will be much different from the light in the paint store, and that makes a huge difference. And colors always look darker once you get them on the wall, so unless you like very strong colors, best to go one shade lighter than the chip you like! Well, happy painting.
